CONSULAR IN DÜSSELDORF
The state of North Rhine Westphalia, NRW, is an extremely powerful centre of commerce and trade. This equates to a good reason for diplomatic ties to be formed with NRW by many countries. As well as the fact that people of many nationalities have been attracted to the region for decades.
The big six comprised of Britain, France, The Netherlands, the USA, China and Japan are traditionally well represented and offer various services. Nowadays, expat citizens of Consulates in Düsseldorf are lower on the pecking order than representation and trading interests.

Switzerland, Senegal, Serbia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Suriname, Swaziland, Thailand, Togo, Tunisia, Turkey, Uruguay. Especially honorary representations are normally much smaller if not less important for those nationalities. Representatives can be found through the Federal Foreign Office.
