The city flea market, Citytrödelmarkt, in Neuss takes place on two occasions each year. The first is in May on Mothering Sunday, the second on a Sunday in September. Stands can be found all along the high street and around Markt. The event has a long standing tradition and offers a terrific atmosphere for lovers of the hunt. Since a high proportion of  those presenting their wares are private individuals, there are potentially great buys available to all.

The annual event is held on the beautiful promenade alongside the river Rhine, attracting hundreds of children and families.
