SOCCER IN DÜSSELDORF
The state of North Rhine Westphalia is the home of a few of the most famous German teams. The capital hosts a team that has had its moments too. Known as Fortuna Düsseldorf, their fame and fortune stems mostly from the late nineteen seventies and early eighties.
The occasions to enjoy the atmosphere of top-class games come and go regularly, yet the team is seemly somewhat challenged to rejoin the first league, erste Bundesliga. Germany’s most popular sport was, is and always will be soccer, and it is of especially great significance to this region. The fans of Fortuna Düsseldorf are especially opinionated and mainly loyal. Their modern stadium affords good views, comfort and all necessary refreshments.
Following the Fifa World Cup in 2006, soccer euphoria has become credited for helping to create a society that feels happier with itself showing signs of patriotism.
