The national league, Bundesliga, was established in 1966, enabling teams to enter a new era and Borussia Düsseldorf to go from strength to strength. Since then they have won thirty German team championships, twenty six  German Cup titles and celebrated fifteen successes on the European stage. This has mede them the most successful club in Germany and one of the leading teams in Europe.

A further highlight is a unique team member Timo Boll, who has become renowned for his long history of personal successes including winning several Olympic medals.
